【INTRODUCTION】
予期せぬ失恋に落ち込む女子大生・茜と、ゲーマー男子高校生・山田との「難攻不落」の恋を描いたネトゲ×ラブコメストーリー『山田くんとLv999の恋をする』が、待望のアニメーション化！

原作は、漫画配信サービス「GANMA!」にて連載中、ましろによる同名コミック。単行本（KADOKAWA 発行）と電子書籍の累計発行部数が１００万部を突破したほか、『鬼滅の刃』や『呪術廻戦』も過去受賞した「みんなが選ぶTSUTAYAコミック大賞」で第6回大賞に選ばれるなど、口コミから火がついたその人気はますます加速中！

アニメーション制作は、『オーバーロードⅣ』や『宇宙よりも遠い場所』など、重厚なファンタジーからバトル・アクション、日常・お仕事モノまで幅広く手掛ける「マッドハウス」が担当。監督は、『ちはやふる』、『カードキャプターさくら』でキャラクターの機微を描くことに定評のある浅香守生が務める。
ネットワークゲームとリアルの世界を行き来しながら、徐々にレベルアップしていく茜と山田の関係性を、周囲の個性豊かな友人たちも含めてエモーショナルに紡いでいく。

■STORY
彼氏がネトゲで知り合った女性と浮気し、そのまま別れを告げられてしまうというサイアクな出来事に直面した女子大生の木之下茜。話を合わせるためにネトゲをはじめていた茜の元に残ったのは、彼氏との愛と共に育んでいたはずのキャラだけだった……。
ストレス発散のため、ネトゲの狩り場で暴れていた茜は、たまたま遭遇した同じギルドの「山田」に失恋の愚痴をこぼすものの、「興味はないすね」と、そっけなく返されてしまう。だが、キレイになって元彼を見返そうと参加したオフラインイベントで、再びその言葉を耳にする。

それが“山田”との、運命的な出会いだった――！

【INTRODUCTION】
The eagerly anticipated anime adaptation of the net game×romantic comedy story “Yamada-kun to Lv999 no Koi wo Suru”, which depicts the “invincible” relationship between college student Akane, who is depressed about unexpected heartbreak, and high school gamer Yamada.
The original work is the manga “Yamada-kun to Lv999 no Koi wo Suru” Mashiro, which is currently being serialized on the comic distribution “GANMA!”. The cumulative number of magazine publications (published KADOKAWA) and e-books has exceeded one million, and it was chosen as the Grand Prize in the 6th Tsutaya Comic Award selected popular vote, which has also awarded past works such as “Demon Slayer” and “Jujutsu Kaisen”. Its popularity is growing through word-of-mouth!

Animation production is produced “Madhouse”, which handles a wide range of genres, from heavy fantasy and battle action to everyday work themes most recently through “Overlord IV” and “A Place Further than the Universe,” respectively. The director is Mami Asakawa who is known for her ability to draw the intricacies of characters in works like “Chihayafuru” and “Cardcaptor Sakura.”
The story depicts the relationship between Akane and Yamada, who gradually level up while moving back and forth between a network game and the real world, while weaving their emotional tale with their unique and lively group of friends.

■STORY
Akane Kinoshita, a college student, was faced with the worst situation when her boyfriend cheated on her with a woman he met online while playing a net game, leaving her behind with only the character they had nurtured together. Nervous and stressed, Akane started to play the same net game to try and forget. Although she complained about her breakup to a guild member named Yamada, he replied coldly, saying he wasn’t interested. But when she attended an offline event to show her ex how much she had improved and heard the same message again, she felt an inexplicable connection to Yamada, who she had met before.

It was a destiny-like encounter with “Yamada” -!
