The second PV for the heartwarming story “Jijou wo Shiranai Tenkousei ga Guiguikuuru” Takumi Kawamura, which has been serialized in Square Enix’s monthly “Gangan Joker” and gained popularity on Twitter, has been released. The anime will air on April 9, 2023, at 22:00 on TOKYO MX, Yomiuri TV, TV Aichi, BS Fuji, and Animax.

The show tells the story of Takada, a transfer student who is unaware that his classmate Nishimura is nicknamed “the Grim Reaper” their classmates. Despite the teasing and laughter of his classmates, Takada remains oblivious to the situation and just wants to reach out to Nishimura. The story will surely appeal to audiences of all ages.

The anime will be directed Kyorin Nakayama, with Takafumi Kawakawa serving as assistant director, Shogo Yasukawa and Takafumi Hoshikawa as series composition supervisors, Mutsumi Kadekari as character designer, Toshiro Masuda as composer, Jiafang Lu as art director, Kouta Yanai as color designer, Tetsuya Kawada as chief animator, Keisuke Yanagi as editor, and Shozo Horiguchi as sound director. The anime will be produced Studio Signpost.

The voice cast will include Yosumi Kohara as Akane Nishimura, Shizuka Ishigami as Takaya Takada, Kengo Kawamori as Daichi Hino, Reina Kondo as Kaemi Adachi, Wakana Maruoka as Sumire Kasahara, Kouhei Amasaki as Kotaro Kitagawa, Atsumi Tanezaki as Yukiko Takada, and Jun Fukuyama as Akane’s father.

The opening theme will be “Alcor and Polaris” Reina Kondo, while the ending theme will be “Kokorone” Kitri.

The anime will start streaming on Abema from April 2, 2023, at 22:00, one week before its television broadcast. More streaming platforms will be announced in the future. The official website and Twitter account for “Jijou wo Shiranai Tenkousei ga Guiguikuuru” have also been launched.
